Meet the teaching Team
Our Staff

Director
Directing Kingdom Kids Preschool is an absolute dream come true! What could be better than working with some of the most passionate, creative and driven early childhood educators as we meet the developmental and educational needs of the children within our care? Each interaction I have with the children, their caregivers or our staff fills my heart with joy. Building a program where children thrive as they play, discover, create and learn has been such a fulfilling experience. Watching the hand of God work in and through our preschool community is a blessing beyond measure. I can truly say I love my life’s work and thank the Lord for calling me into it over 9 years ago.

Preschool Assistant
My love for teaching began when my own children were homeschooled during the pandemic. I have been blessed to be involved in preschool for thelast 5 years- as a parent and then a lead PreK teacher, as well as a classroom assistant, and now, I get the privilege of being the preschool assistant, which I love! I enjoy creating a feeling of home for the students, where I get to observe and contribute to them learning and growing every day. I love providing activities that inspire my students’ creativity and imagination. Their little smiles and laughs absolutely make my day!

Junior K Teacher
Ms. Crystal has been a certified teacher since 1997. She's had years of teaching experience in one capacity or another, including volunteering in her kid's schools and at church. She taught Kindergarten and First Grade for ten years in the Lake Washington School District. Then she stayed home with her own kids for about the same length of time, before going back as a substitute. A couple years after moving down from Kirkland, Crystal was honored to be asked to be the lead Pre-K Teacher for a private Christian preschool in the Black Diamond area. She then went on to start the Junior Kindergarten class. Ms. Crystal is thrilled to now be at KKP, continuing to use her skills as a Junior Kindergarten Teacher.

Assistant Teacher of Creators
I was raised in the Black Diamond and Enumclaw area and now live in Bonney Lake with my 2-year-old daughter. We love exploring nature, taking walks, and enjoying family time together. I love arts and crafts and music and dabbled in musical theater as a high-school student. As a homeschooler, I grew up helping my younger brothers with their schooling. I’ve enjoyed working with children for as long as I can remember and have helped in 2 preschools throughout my teen years. I thoroughly enjoy watching preschoolers learn and grow. I’m excited to come along Ms. Crystal in helping the Creators explore, discover, learn and grow this year.

Lead Teacher for Pathfinders A
I am so excited to be the lead teacher of the Pathfinders A class this year. I've been married to my husband, Josh for the last 13 years and together we have three children. We love to hike, walk and play board games as a family. Teaching is a cherished family tradition-- My grandmother, mother, aunt, cousin and two of my sisters have all been teachers. For the last three years I have been involved in nursery ministry at our church. I was also in leadership in a local MOPS group and have been a part of running numerous VBS programs. Working with children and families is a passion of mine and I am so excited to partner with families in making their child's preschool experience a joyful and memorable o

Assistant Teacher of Pathfinders A
My husband and I have been married for 8 years and we have 5-year-old son who just started kindergarten this year. We live in Enumclaw with our two dogs and one cat. Our family loves traveling, exploring new places, and making memories together. On the weekends, you’ll often find us spending time with family, working on house renovations, or gardening. I have always had a passion for working with children and love watching them grow both academically and in their faith. Our son attended KKP for two years, and we are so grateful for the love, care, and foundation he received there, which helped make his transition into kindergarten such a positive experience. I’ve also enjoyed helping at Kingdom Kids with various projects and alongside different teachers, and I’m excited for the opportunity to continue being part of such a special community! I look forward to helping encourage and support KKP students as they learn and grow.

Assistant Teacher of Pathfinders A
Hello KKP families! My name is Keri and this is my first year as an assistant teacher at Kingdom Kids. I’m so excited to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing team of teachers. I have 2 children who are now in elementary school full time. My daughter Campbell was blessed with 2 amazing years at KKP and I was able to volunteer with multiple committees at the school. When we’re not in school, my family and I love traveling, supporting my husband as a musician and going on new adventures (my favorite part is trying new food!). I’m so excited for a year filled with learning, laughter, and helping your little ones grow!

Lead Teacher for Pathfinders B
I am thrilled to be the lead for the Pathfinders B class. I’ve been involved with KKP since it began and have assisted a few of the teachers before becoming a lead myself. Over the last 4 years I volunteered for various committees and in different capacities with Ms. Jen’s previous preschool while my two oldest daughters attended the preschool. I have a Bachelors Degree with a Psychology Minor as well as a Masters in Higher Ed. I find it so interesting to see each of the students learning in unique ways and at different levels. It’s rewarding to come up with challenges and crafts that will engage every student! I have a passion for art and music and LOVE bringing that into the classroom. When I’m not teaching, I love running with our neighborhood run club, with my husband and three kids. We also enjoy spending our weekends hiking, having dance parties while cooking and visiting local parks!

Assistant Teacher of Pathfinders B & Explorers A
I can’t wait to help the students of KKP, this year as an Assistant Teacher in the Pathfinders B and Explorers A classes. This is my first year as an Assistant Teacher, but I come from a family of teachers, so being in the classroom feels like home. In fact, my sister Ms. Danielle teaches the Pathfinders A class! I’ve been married to my husband for seven years. We have four children. Our five-year-old will be attending his 3rd year at KKP, in the Junior Kindergarten class and his younger brother is just beginning his KKP career as an Explorer. Our family lives on a little farm with three dogs, two outdoor cats, two goats and twelve chickens. In my spare time I love baking, cooking, weightlifting, hiking, walking, playing games and gardening.

Explorers A & B and Pathfinders C Lead Teacher
My name is Hartley and I am the 2’s and 3’s teacher! I’ve had a passion for working with children for as long as I can remember. Even when I was younger, you would often find me skipping Sunday school to help out in our church’s nursery, teaching the kids the ABC’s song. I have over eight years working with elementary aged kids with my K-8 certification and an endorsement in SPED/Neurodivergent. My passion has led me out of the elementary ages and into early childhood development, where learning truly begins. I am passionate about teaching fundamentals in a fun play-based, caring and structured learning environment. The growth within these ages is some of the best there is and I cannot WAIT to see how each year unfolds!

Explorers A & B Assistant Teacher
My name is Heather and I was born and raised in Washington and currently live in Ravensdale with my husband and two children. Both of my kiddos have attended preschool at Ms. Jen’s preschools! As a family, we love the outdoors and are always finding a new place to take our trailer to go camping. I spend my free time working in our garden growing fresh veggies and flowers and taking care of our chickens. I have ALWAYS had a passion and love for working with kids, aside from my own children. From volunteering in my daughter’s classroom, the last two years and helping at Kingdom Kids while my son attended, I knew this was the right path for me. I love being in the classroom with children and watching them learn and grow. I am excited to be teaching alongside Ms. Hartley in the 3s class this year. We are in for a GREAT year!
Safety and Training
All teachers have background checks, and are CPR and First Aid certified. Also, staff participate in ongoing early childhood education training.
OUR DIRECTOR
Jen Clintworth

About Jen
I’ve spent the last 14 years homeschooling my 5 children. I delight in watching children explore, make discoveries and create as they apply what they are learning. It has been a joy to help teach preschool classes at various homeschool co-ops throughout these 14 years. Within the last 8 years I worked at a private Christian preschool, spent two years directing and teaching my own in-home preschool and the last 4 years directing a local private Christian preschool. What a blessing it was to develop beautiful relationships with children, parents and families as the preschool grew from 6 to 105 students over a 4-year time period. It is with great excitement that I look forward directing to Kingdom Kids Preschool!

Started career in elementary schools

Testimonials
We cannot thank Jen and her staff enough.. We were hesitant to send our son anywhere mostly because he was SO shy. But we are so glad we did. Our son has seriously excelled academically, emotionally, and socially this past year. We got more than what we expected. Jen and her staff are kind, patient, and actually care about their students. I really think that’s what makes these kids want to learn. Our son wants to go to school, he wants to come home and show us what he’s learned. He is so excited! My only regret is not putting him in school sooner.
I cannot recommend Jen and the teachers at this preschool enough. As the director her heart is with helping children grow and learn, and these amazing teachers care for and love our children almost like their own. It is hard to put into words how wonderful our experience was over the two years our daughter attended pre-K and Junior K. Every day she was excited to go to school, and came home with so many beautiful projects and stories. She went to pre-K a shy, unsure child and graduated with so much confidence. A special plug for Junior K: if your 5-year-old (or you!) need another year to prepare for the next phase of life, by all means do this! My daughter had an amazing year learning to read, interacting and problem solving with classmates, and doing so many fun activities every day.
